8-Colour Printing

8 colour printing is process that uses CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) with the addition of, light cyan (Lc) and light magenta (Lm) light yellow & light black.

Direct Graphics use 8 colour process printing for the production of high resolution large format graphics. Typical users would include builders, developers & architects, when using 8-colour digitally printed aluminium composite site hoardings and billboards, printed in fine detail at high resolution with a gloss finish, giving a picture perfect image. Shopfitters, exhibition stand designers, advertising & design agencies would also regularly use this high resolution 8-colour process for use in, graphic display panels, pop up stand & pop up banners, foamboard display boards, Corex and Foamx header cards & general retail POS & POP.

Portable display stands, portable banner stands and outdoor banner stands can all benefit from this 8-colour process. Direct Graphics always recommend a liquid lamination finish on all high resolution digitally printed graphics to protect the print from scuffing and general wear & tare.
